i remember one of my projects, he raised a stink but he was just
being his obnoxious self.. the No.1 politely and subtly said it's
okay and the project was good.. he went on.. and on and on...
my dy director wasn't happy about it.. came back and started to
complain about it to us.. so i said that actually, the No.1 was
trying to tell him to shut up with a subtle suggestion, trying to
save his face.. since he wasn't going to get the subtle hint, we
have to protect our own ass too.. i gave her the clearance and
everything from his division officers... the project was okayed by
the heads of his division..
my dy director sent the whole lot of correspondence to him, telling
him that we cleared it all so why the hell was he asking all these
things?
if he knew and still is raising a stink now, he's out of line
because he should have done that long ago..
if he didn't know, it means that his officers are not telling him
things.. it is therefore a failure of his leadership...
and the whole thing was cc'ed to the No.1 and the two No.2s
he shut up.. but still had the audacity to turn up at my cubicle
and try to push everything on me.. so again, i had to humiliate
him.. sadly.. he's the same guy i humiliated in my last posting..
he was the boss of that place..
if he was run over by a car, the difference between him and
roadkill is that there will be skid marks in front of the
roadkill..
